Happy New Year 2009

Well Happy New Year to you all . The beginnings of a new year for me is a start, a fresh look at whats ahead . I like to think and plan out what I might like and want to do for the year . But this year in America, it is grim I must say . People are losing jobs , Med insurance ( us) , there homes. gessh! Its hard to look at this year as a new beginning when you have all this shit going on . But I will stay positive for now . Try to look on the bright side after all we have a new president who has promised a change . Lots of new art projects I want to try out . Maybe a move ............. more on that later . So Happy New year to everyone . I will get 2009 a chance .

My painting of Butter

A few years ago My friend gave us Butter . Well her grandson was very fond of Butter and has come over to visit her a few times . So I decided to make him a picture book of all the funny photos I had of her and give it to him. So I painted a picture of her on the cover and filled it with all the funny photos I have of her and gave it to him and he was thrilled , So I told him I would send him photos of her every now and again to put in his book . I just send him 4 more .

These are 2 of my latest paintings . The top one is of my niece and her 2 little girls. And the second one is of my other niece . I was hopeing to have them copied and sent to them but couldn't believe the cost of that . So i will have to wait .
