Art Journal cover

This is an Art Journal cover I did for an art journal I made my self that I can take up to our farm/land . It was made with handmade paper on the outside and had some on the inside . I have added some more watercolor paper inside . Its tall about 12 to 15 inches tall so I think it will make a great journal for me ,

Spring Thyme Board Book

This is a Board book that I am working on . It has a spring theme. The cover is a combination of fabric and paper,beads and images . I have 2 spreads done in it so far . The daffodils are the first one . The daffys are some I watercolored then cut out and added a peom . The dragonfly is on the paper added some ink stain and a time flutters by sticker .The Pink flowers are a magazine cutout thats glued on to a paper background . Then found the Inspire words in a magazine and glued them to a paper background and then added the Robins Williams quote .

Button Fairies

These are 3 Button Fairy pins I did for a swap . I used old antique

buttons from my button collection and then designed the fairies around them . I like bright colors so I wanted the fairies to be bold and bright like the buttons .

Cracked glass Eggs in a nest

I just learned this today . Its called Cracked glass . Its the coolest thing. I love doing it. This is a stamp image that I colored with colored pencils then did the cracked glass over the top . Cool huh?

Ready for a Spring Fling!

This ia a smaller free standing paper doll . She is all ready for that spring fling party. She is made from a stamp image, colorpenciles, Fiber trim and paper.

Mannequins

I did these 3 Mannequinns for a swap on the Gluebots Yahoo group I belong too. I really liked the way they came out . I painted the mannequinn with a bright blue then covered it in a paper lace. When it dryed it became so brillant I loved the color. Then I stamped the wings with embrossing ink and embrossed them with black. Then used my H2Os paint in 3 wonderful blues. Added some old lace at the bottom and my image and a ribbon at the top . All done .

Paper dolls

I found this templete in the wedding area . It was just plain white and was for a centerpiece . I just saw so much in it I had to buy it and bring it home . The Blue lady I use the whole templete and just added the shoulders, head and arms . I had to adjust it alittle . The Poppy Girl I just used the skirt and added the whole blouse , head and arms . Both tops are stamps from Character Contruction . She has the greatest stamps . Dont ya think ?
